The Peregrine Falcon - Falco peregrinus - is a widespread bird of prey and can be found nearly everywhere on Earth. The male and female have similar markings, with the female much larger than the male. The back and the long pointed wings of the adult are usually bluish black to slate grey and the underparts are barred white. The bill is black with a yellow cere, The legs and feet are yellow with black claws.
